In order to provide doula services for women who could not otherwise afford them (doula's fees can range from $300 to over $1,000 for the birth and up to $25 per hour for postpartum services), I offer my services at a drastically reduced cost. As a result, I must rely on donations in order to cover the cost of transportation, printing fees for educational materials, supplies, and other costs.
